Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a procedure for the infected pulp of a tooth. It effectively helps to relieve any symptoms caused by the damage, and results in the elimination of the infection.

Following an endodontic procedure, the tooth may become brittle over time and may be vulnerable to cracking. A dental crown may be suggested to be placed on the tooth in order to protect the tooth from further damage, and to restore its full function and aesthetic appearance.
